Irem Ipek Yilmaz completed her undergraduate education at Hacettepe University Department of international relations and received her master's degree from Middle East Technical University Department of international Relations with her thesis titled “Ukraine War and the US Hegemony: A Neo-Gramscian Analysis of Economic Sanctions”. She is conducting her doctoral studies at the Department of international relations of Ankara University.
